Elizabeth M. Pendzick is a Partner at DLEI&D. Elizabeth works closely with the firm’s trial teams in preparing complex litigation matters for trial and appellate proceedings. Her diverse background handling plaintiff-side litigation, defense litigation, and appellate matters provides a unique perspective in evaluating liability, damages exposure, and overall trial strategy in high-exposure cases.
Prior to joining DLEI&D, Elizabeth was the managing partner of Hausman & Pendzick and previously practiced at Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker, where she focused on medical malpractice and motor vehicle litigation. Elizabeth also served as a Senior Court Attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, where she gained substantial experience analyzing appellate issues, motion practice, and complex legal arguments. Drawing on her combined experience in plaintiff litigation, defense litigation, and appellate practice, Elizabeth provides valuable strategic insight in trial preparation, damages analysis, motion practice, and appellate preservation.
Elizabeth is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the Westchester County Women’s Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of New York.
Elizabeth attended the State University of New York at Geneseo, where she received her undergraduate degree in 1992, and earned her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1995.
